About Paloma

Paloma Vega-Penichet Domecq – 29 years old – co-founder of Koops.

She studied Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. After working on a tunnel boring machine in Oslo, she redirected her career towards consulting, working at McKinsey & Co in Madrid.

She later moved into private equity, working at MCH (Madrid) and Eurazeo (Paris).

She brings to Koops a strong technical foundation and a deep sensitivity for design and product development.

Her profile combines structural knowledge, innovation, and aesthetics, allowing her to translate principles of ergonomics and functionality into footwear design.

Together with her cousin Sofía, she has driven a proposal that merges health, design, and lifestyle, positioning Koops as a pioneering brand in barefoot footwear with a modern and refined image.
